Buying ticket at ticket sales office

  • Ticket reservation is not possible.
  • It is necessary to buy ticket in order to ensure place onboard for desired travel date and time.
  • It is possible to buy ticket at the ticket sales office 30-60 minutes before departure time (depending on office opening hours), but it can be purchased a day or few days before departure.
  • IMPORTANT! Ticket is valid only for travel date and hour indicated on the ticket.
  • When buying ticket in advance, it is necessary to pay attention on the Return conditions in case of cancelling the voyage (after departure date and time indicated on the ticket, it is not possible to make a refund).
  • Seats on board are not numbered, purchased ticket ensures travelling on the chosen date and time, and after boarding passenger has free choice of the seat.

Buying tickets online

  • Ticket can be purchased online only for season fast ship lines: Zadar-Silba-Rab-Krk-Rijeka and Zadar-Božava-Silba-Mali Lošinj-Susak.
  • For ship lines from Zadar to Sali and Zaglav (Dugi otok), and for island Iž and Rava, it is not possible to buy ticket online.
  • Ticket reservation is not possible.
  • It is necessary to buy ticket in order to ensure place onboard for desired travel date and time.
  • It is possible to buy one way or return ticket; for return ticket 10% discount is granted.
  • IMPORTANT! Ticket is valid only for travel date and hour indicated on the ticket.
  • Before finalizing online purchase it is necessary to pay attention on the Return conditions in case of cancelling the trip or change of travel date for online tickets (request for travel date change must be sent at least 48 hours before the trip; request for cancelling the ticket must be sent at least 48 hours before the trip and possible refund is 50% of the full price).
  • Online payment is conducted by Corvus Pay provider, and accepted debit/credit cards are: Mastercard, Maestro and Visa.
  • Possible reasons for unsuccessful online purchase or declined payment are:
    • Insufficient funds
    • 3D security password entered incorrectly (while making 3D secure identity check on buyer´s bank site)
    • Incorrectly entered card number
    • Incorrectly entered CVV number
    • Card limitations
  • In case you are repeatedly having problems with completing online purchase, you should contact your bank/card issuer or buy ticket at one of our ticket sales offices.
  • After successful online purchase, buyer will receive the tickets to the previously entered  email address.
  • It is not necessary to print the tickets, they can be presented on passenger´s mobile device screen while boarding.
  • Tickets which are not printed, must be prepared on mobile device screen in advance to avoid rush and delay during the boarding.

  • ONLINE purchase is possible with debit/credit cards: Mastercard, Maestro and Visa.
  • Possible payment method onboard (for bike, pets or cargo transport) is cash only (in Kunas).

Discounts

On ship lines 405 Zadar-Iž-Rava and 406 Zadar-Sali-Zaglav-Zadar (ship Anamarija):

  • Children age 0-3 travel free of charge (ticket must be requested at ticket sales office)
  • Children age 3-12 get 50% discount on adult ticket price
  • Discount for groups cannot be granted on these lines

On fast ship line 9406 Zadar-Sali-Zaglav-Bršanj-Zadar (fast ship Melita):

  • Children age 0-3 travel free of charge (ticket must be requested at ticket sales office)
  • Children age 3-12 get reduced ticket price of 20 kunas
  • Discount for groups cannot be granted on this line

On season fast ship lines Zadar-Silba-Rab-Krk-Rijeka and Zadar-Božava-Silba-Mali Lošinj-Susak (fast ship Antonija):

  • When purchasing return ticket, 10% discount is granted
  • Children age 0-12 get 50% discount on adult ticket price

Bicycle transport

  • It is allowed to take bicycle onboard all our ships.
  • For bicycle transport payment is required onboard (payment method: cash only; Kuna).
  • Price for bicycle transport from Zadar to Sali or Zaglav (Dugi otok), and to island Iž and Rava is 25,00 kuna (in one direction).

Pets transport

  • All our ships are „pet friendly“ and it is possible to take pets onboard.
  • It is not allowed to keep pets (dogs) on the passenger seats.
  • On ship lines from Zadar to Sali and Zaglav (Dugi otok), and to islands Iž and Rava, pets transport is free of charge.
  • On season fast ship line Zadar-Silba-Rab-Krk-Rijeka, pets transport is charged on the ship after boarding (payment method: cash only; Kuna). Prices available here.

  • Cargo transport is possible on ship Anamarija, which operates on lines: 405 Zadar-Iž-Rava and 406 Zadar-Sali-Zaglav-Zadar.

Luggage

  • Luggage included in ticket price: hand luggage in the passenger lounge and 1 suitcase up to 20 kg in the luggage compartment.

Boarding

  • Boarding locations in all our ports/destinations check here.
  • Boarding time is 30 minutes before departure time (except in intermediate ports where boarding starts right after disembarkation).
  • It is necessary to have a ticket prepared and show it to the crew while boarding.
  • Tickets purchased ONLINE, for season fast ship lines Zadar-Silba-Rab-Krk-Rijeka and Zadar-Božava-Silba-Mali Lošinj-Susak, have to be prepared and opened on mobile device screen in advance, to avoid rush and delay during the boarding.
  • In case of bicycle, pets or cargo transport, payment will be made by a crew member after boarding (payment method: cash only; Kuna).

During the voyage

  • Free WIFI is available on all our ships, and password will be provided by the crew upon request.
  • Fast ship Antonija is equipped with a bar offering coffee, drinks, ice cream, croissant, sandwich, snacks.
  • Fast ship Melita is equipped with vending machines offering coffee, drinks and snacks.
  • Ship Anamarija is equipped with a bar offering coffee, drinks and ice cream.

Refund policy in case of cancelling the ticket

  • Ticket is valid only for travel date and hour indicated on the ticket!

Tickets purchased at the ticket sales office:

  • In case of cancelling the ticket or change of date/time of departure, ticket purchased at the office must be returned/cancelled BEFORE travel date and time indicated on the ticket. After travel date and time (after ship departure) it is not possible to return the ticket and get refund.
  • In case of card payment, it is not possible to get refund in cash. Passenger is required to fill out the refund request form with informations about owner and number of account for making the refund (it can take up to 30 days for money to be transferred).

Tickets purchased ONLINE: 

  • In case of cancelling the ticket or change of date/time of departure, for ticket purchased ONLINE, request must be sent to info@gv-zadar.hr, at least 48 hours before departure time.
  • In case of cancelling the ticket, for ticket purchased ONLINE, it is possible to get refund of 50% of the full price, and refund is made via Corvus Pay payment provider, to the card buyer used for purchase.

Cancellation or delay of the voyage by G&V LINE IADERA

  • All our ships are subject to weather conditions and force majeure events. Therefore, cancellation or delay of the voyage by the ship-owner G&V Line Iadera is possible in such cases.
  • In case of cancellation or delay of the voyage, it will be announced at least 30-60 minutes before departure time on website www.gv-zadar.com.
  • Passengers with tickets purchased in advance, in this case have the right for full refund or change of the travel date, which can be requested at info@gv-zadar.hr.

Parking in ports of departure

ZADAR

  • Departure location for all our ships in Zadar is: Liburnska obala (city center – old town). Check location
  • Near ship departure location there are public parking spaces available (charged by the hour).

  • At the departure adress there is parking lot, charged by the hour (payment and info in the lobby of Terminal 7 building).

KRK
